Large amounts of acid are used in the smelting of non-ferrous and rare metals, which can cause severe corrosion to equipment like agitator blade. In some cases, these smelting processes are carried out under high temperature. BSC has developed HT-CRC coating and Extreme Chemical Resistance coating for this kind of working condition, which solves the problem of high-temperature corrosion of sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and other mixed acid.

In one large rare earth processing workshop, the wet temperature is around 100℃，concentration of acid is not less than 30%, and mix sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid. BSC has provided the product for trial. The service life of the agitator blade has been extended from the original 20 days to more than one year .
